Born in Southend, but raised in New Zealand, Ehren Stowers came back to England in early 1999, and upon stumbling into the famous ‘Gallery’ in London- discovered Trance. It was literally one of those life changing moments. Later that same year, Ehren returned to New Zealand with a bag of records- but it wasn’t until his collection tripled in late 2000 that he actually decided to learn how to play them!.

Ehren began playing out almost immediately, playing at various venues around Auckland for the Panic Promotion’s ‘Storm’ parties. By mid 2002, he had returned to London and almost immediately begun playing regularly for ‘DPressure’ at the Soundshaft.

Born out of this relationship in late 2003, came Trance Generation where he now holds a residency.

As well as ‘The Soundshaft’, Ehren has also played regularly for Turnmills (The Gallery), has played for Serious (Scala), ‘The Fridge’ (Innovate) ‘The Honey Club’ in Brighton, ‘Egg’, ‘Heaven’, ‘The Mass’, ‘SE1 Club’, ‘Hidden’ and various other venues across London. He has played along-side some of the best DJ’s in the world, including taking over from none other than Armin Van Buuren, and has supported DJ’s such as Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Christopher Lawrence, Ferry Corsten, Steve Lawler, Tall Paul, M.I.K.E (Push), Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Agnelli + Nelson, Above & Beyond, The Thrillseekers, Lange, Solarstone, Graham Gold, John ‘OO’ Fleming, Darren Tate, Rank1, Matt Darey, Fred Baker, Adam White, Albert Vorne, K90, John O’ Callaghan, Ronski Speed, The Disco Brothers & Corderoy to name just a few!

Recently, he has had a string of successes on the production front, with several tracks being played by the worlds top DJ’s, including ARMIN VAN BUUREN, ABOVE & BEYOND, FERRY CORSTEN, JUDGE JULES and many more. He has recently remixed A B Project – ‘Misconceptions’ for Mondo Records, released several tracks on Monster Tunes (‘Way of Life’ with the Viceroy, and a solo project called ‘Panspermia’), with an EP on the way out this easter on Monster entitled ‘Cold Chaos’ (which received early support from Above & Beyond on Trance Around the World). He is also currently collaborating in the studio on two separate projects with CORDEROY and SIMON BOSTOCK (having remixed ‘Solarstones’ classic – Seven Cities’ with Simon in 2007 which received support from Armin Van Buuren on A State of Trance). Ehren also has a string of new tracks due for release on Real Music & Perceptive Recordings later in the year (‘Icarus’ & ‘Twisted Symmetry’).

Not content to stop there, Ehren also writes music with Andy Young (Bio music) under the guise of ‘Stowers & Young’. Their first Track, ‘The Second Coming‘, has received support from Judge Jules on Radio1, Graham Gold and John Askew on Kiss FM, and was Gavyn Mytchel’s number 1 Gallery tune of the week on his Ministry of Sound radio show. With a stunning new remix in 2008 by Gareth Emery (seeing further support by Armin on his ‘A State of Trance’ show), the track is due for release on INSIGHT RECORDINGS in the next few months (Ehren’s new label, on the verge of launching over the next few months- being run jointly with Andy Young, Simon Bostock & James Cognet). Their follow up, ‘Lost on Earth’, is currently being worked on in the studio, with an early exclusive test release making Solarstone’s ‘tune of the week’ on their ‘Deep Blue radio show’ – watch out for this monster!.

Ehren has appeared as a ‘Guest DJ’ on many radio shows- most notably SOLARSTONE & AGNELLI & NELSON’S Deep Blue Radio Show in January 2008, ‘The Corderoy show’on‘Digitally Imported’ (DI FM), Gavyn Mytchel’s ‘The Gallery Show’ on Ministry of Sound Radio, as well as Adam White’s show, also on ‘Ministry of Sound Radio’.

With his residency at ‘Trance Generation’ (which has now re-launched as ‘Generation’), Ehren is a dominant force on the London trance scene.
